Pow Wow
assist with the many aspects of the Seafair Indian Days Pow Wow in mid-July. Pow Wow Volunteer Form
Head Start Preschool
variety of options including assisting in the classroom, storytelling, drum-making, special event coordination, and general office duties.
United Indians Youth Home
acquiring in-kind donations, computer upkeep, general office duties, and mentoring youth with general life skills.
Youth Study Group
acting as study group facilitator for middle and high school age youth.
Daybreak Star Greeter
provide a warm welcome and brief tour to visitors of the Daybreak Star; assist customer service in the fine arts and Pendleton blanket gift shop
Gift Shop Assistant
marketing, budget and customer service in the Pendleton blanket and fine art giftshop; our dream volunteer has experience in accounting.
United Indians Newsletter
assist with article and photographic submissions, editing, layout, design, and distrubition of the bi-monthly newsletter.
Cultural Resources
United Indians maintains a network of sweatlodge leaders, Indigenous language and cultural experts, and healers to refer to community members.
UIATF Historian
United Indians seeks a historian to collect and write Foundation and community stories.
Development Associate
seek in-kind donations, write grants, research, assist with fundraisers, assist with program designs
